Training
Revamp
I worked with the owner to identify problem areas in our existing training process and then created a new training process to address the gaps. I also got input from long time customers, employees, and others in management to make sure the new training addressed the needs of all stakeholders.
Installation of New POS System
I led the change to overhaul an existing and outdated Point of Sale (POS) system to a new system that allowed for faster payment processing, better tracking, and improved ease of use for both customers and employees. I had to work with the vendor to embed the system into our existing infrastructure.
COVID Safety Measures
When COVID-19 halted business in 2020, I led the charge to allow us to reopen as quickly as possible. Once we reopened, I worked with the owner to install new safety features to keep the staff and customers safe. I also brought back our existing staff in phases and hired others to fill the remaining gaps.
